Member Prize Draw

If you're a Nationwide member, you're used to sharing in the benefits of being a mutual. Like preferential rates and the services we offer. That's why we launched our monthly Member Prize Draw.

What was our Member Prize Draw?

Our Member Prize Draw offered Nationwide members the chance to win their share of £1 million. We first launched it in September 2021 and eligible members were automatically entered each month.

Our prize pot was split into 8,008 monthly prizes. So, for every month we gave away:

  • 1 prize of £100,000
  • 2 prizes of £25,000
  • 5 prizes of £10,000
  • 8,000 prizes of £100

The last Member Prize Draw took place in August 2022.

You were automatically entered if you were:

  • A Nationwide member with a mortgage, personal savings or current account with us.
  • 18 or over.
  • Resident in England, Scotland or Wales.

How the prize draw worked

  1. Entering you into the draw

    If you were eligible on the last working day of the month, we automatically entered you into the next prize draw. Each member received one entry per month. Even if it was a joint account.

  2. Drawing a winner

    Prizes were drawn on the second Tuesday of each month.

  3. Letting you know you've won

    We would be in touch to let you know if you'd won a prize. You had 21 days before the payment to tell us if you didn't want to accept the money.

  4. Receiving your prize money

    We made the payment directly into your Nationwide savings or current account, or by cheque.

Please beware of scams. While we will contact our winners we’ll never ask you for your security details, like your card number or PIN.
